Mark Houser, author of Multistories, will introduce us to the Pittsburgh business tycoons of 1900, and the legacies they left behind - their skyscrapers. Perhaps your ancestors helped to build one of these great buildings or worked in a downtown office.

Hosted by:
Cranberry Genealogy Club and the Cranberry Township Historical Society.

About Mark:
An award-winning journalist and public speaker, Mark’s work has led to appearances on local and national TV and radio. Hundreds of people have taken his “Antique Skyscraper Rooftops" guided tour in Pittsburgh.

To write his book, he traveled coast to coast, picking out the most interesting and attractive examples of the world's first skyscrapers. Then he dug into the details of the fascinating people who built them, and assembled a collection of vintage skyscraper postcards and historic images. Finally, he visited the buildings in person, taking photos and videos of their most appealing features to share with audiences.
