Program Description

Event Details

Learn a traditional Bangladeshi art form!

Local artist Lisa Sirazee will teach us how to create hand-painted wooden jewelry.

Participants will learn how to paint burflower designs in the traditional style on a wooden necklace (cut using our laser engraver), then string the necklace with beads.

Born in Bangladesh, Lisa Sirazee currently resides in Butler County, PA. From an early age she had a passion for painting, and she started again with her hand-painted wooden jewelry. She is proud of her home country's rich culture and wants to share that culture through her artwork.

For more about Lisa's artwork, check out her Facebook page.
