Program Description

Event Details

The art of Henna, also known as Mehndi, has been South Asian, Eastern and African countries for over 5,000 years as natural ways to decorate the skin.

Participants will learn the techniques required for henna application and utilize those skills to "paint with henna" on a canvas.  Kadambari drew the art design and we placed her drawing in CorelDRAW for the laser engraver to engrave her work on canvas.  You will be given a  "paint by number" kind of piece to apply what Kadambari has taught in class.  As an added bonus,  you will be given the opportunity to go home with Kadambari's signature, special henna ink designs applied to your hand; a temporary tattoo.  Come enjoy a lovely event with a beyond talented artist!!
