Come and learn from Shawnlorae Pichieri, crochet and knit enthusiast, as she shares her wealth of experience, greater than a decade, in this textile form.
Crochet can be a year-round hobby! Washcloths, baby blankets, and tote bags are all perfect summer projects or could begin working on a hat or scarf for when it gets colder. In this class you will learn to crochet in rows, basic crochet stitches, then (time permitting) use these skills to begin a project of your choosing. Hook and yarn will be provided and no prior crochet experience is required for this class. You will also take home a stitch guide so you can continue practicing!
Note to lefties: Shawnlorae will be teaching right-handed crochet. She understands that many crochet experts recommend that left handed people just learn right-handed crochet, but if that feels too wrong/proves too difficult, we can do our best to reverse our instruction. There are plenty of resources and videos on the internet that deal specifically with teaching left-handed crocheters.
