Make with a maker and learn a unique art style in this fun, engaging class!
Local artist Sal Greco donated over 30 pieces of his artwork for our display window in January. Sal generously allowed patrons to take his artwork free of charge -- you may have even taken one yourself!
Now, Sal is offering a chance to work alongside him as he demonstrates his unique process. Sal uses an assortment of household items to create his paintings, but he has one rule: NO BRUSHES.
That's right -- you can use any number of household objects, but brushes are not allowed. Please bring several household items to paint with, including some rags, at least 6 qtips, and a piece of cardboard at least 12 inches square (this will be your palette). For his paintings, Sal has used things like q-tips, sponges, string, nails, screws and slotted spoons. You can also simply use your fingers.
You'll receive a small, 3.5" x 5.5" piece of wood to paint on -- what you do with it is up to you!
Don't miss this night of creativity and enjoyment with a local artist!
This class has a $10 materials fee, payable by cash or check at the door.
