Event Details
Participants will be given an egg, a kistka (a tool used for drawing on the surface of an egg) and hot wax. The artist will teach the pysanky art form. The eggs are submerged into vinegar which etches away the exposed shell. Participants will be given a ring for display purposes. The waxed areas cannot accept dye or the etching agent, preserving the color underneath.
