Event Details
Come and learn from Shawnlorae Pichieri, a crochet and knit enthusiast, as she shares her wealth of experience—over a decade—in this textile art.
Crochet can be a year-round hobby! Washcloths, baby blankets, and tote bags are perfect summer projects, or you could start working on a hat or scarf for the colder months. In this class, you will learn to crochet in rows, practice basic crochet stitches, and, time permitting, use these skills to begin a project of your choosing. A hook and yarn will be provided, and no prior crochet experience is required. You will also take home a stitch guide to continue practicing!
Note for lefties: Shawnlorae will be teaching right-handed crochet. While many crochet experts recommend that left-handed people learn right-handed crochet, if that feels too difficult, we will do our best to reverse the instruction. There are also plenty of resources and videos online that specifically cater to teaching left-handed crocheters.
